With the α9 III, Sony has launched a new mirrorless camera to meet the expectations of professional photographers and videographers. The new model boasts a burst rate of up to 120 fps, high-speed video recording without distortion and improved AF performance. Here are the details…
What does the new Sony Alpha 9 III offer?
Sony today launched the new α9 III full-frame mirrorless camera. It sets a new standard for professional photographers with superior AF performance, fast burst shooting and advanced video capabilities. It also features a newly developed 693-point AF system.
It can focus in 0.03 seconds and remains accurate even in low light conditions such as EV-4. It can also track human and animal eyes with Real Time Recognition AF and Real Time Tracking.
The α9 III can shoot bursts of up to 10 fps per second. This is an important feature for capturing moving subjects. It can also burst at up to 20 fps. However, AF tracking is limited in this mode.
It can record 4K 60p video and supports advanced video features such as S-Log3. The α9 III features 5-axis in-body image stabilization, a 9.44 million-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD display. It also offers fast data transfer via FTP and voice memo recording.
